An adapted approach to supporting children and families

Bright Beginnings enables English-speaking communities to engage stakeholders offering programs and services. The aim of these collaborations is to provide new and adapted services to better reach and support children and families.

This initiative is inspired by our Networking and Partnership Initiative (NPI) model and adopts many of its strategies and principles. These include implementing knowledge, networking, representation, outreach, and partnerships as key strategies to support local, regional and provincial partners, as well as improve existing services for the English-speaking 0-17 population.

Bright Beginnings aims to improve the well-being of children through divers actions:

Children

Creating new and innovative programs and services designed to meet the unique needs of English-speaking children and youth from 0-17 years old.

Families

Developing culturally and linguistically adapted outreach strategies that engage English-speaking parents and help them in adopting positive parenting attitudes and practices.

The Community

Providing supportive outreach to vulnerable children and families in our community by collaborating and forming partnerships with French-speaking institutions and organizations.

This program is financed by

Lucie and André Chagnon Foundation
