Assistance and Referral Centre Health and Social Services (ARC) is a not-for-profit community organization located in the Monteregie, a vast region with the second largest English-speaking population in Quebec after the Island of Montreal.

Founded in 2011, ARC promotes access to health and social services in English in the Montérégie South Shore, a culturally diverse territory where more than half of the region’s 180,000 English-speakers call home.

Served by CISSS Montérégie – Santé Montérégie, ARC is the coordinating body for a 17-member health network table, a focal point in addressing the health and social services needs in the region.

ARC also contributes, connects, and shares resources and information that promotes access to health and social services in English; collaborates on community-wide initiatives; develops community awareness of the need for services in English; and supports recruiting and retention efforts so that there are more English-speaking professionals working in our health and social services system.
