The Cheshire Home inaugurated in 1981, serves young adults living with a physical disability, who because of their particular needs cannot live a normal life. This house was adapted to respond to the needs of these particular people.

The Cheshire Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization, operated by a board of directors, who serve without remuneration. The home accommodates six young adults between eighteen and fifty-five years of age. There are four rooms, two double and two single. The residents participate in the organization as well as household chores. The residents benefit from twenty-four hour a day care.
