As the Project Coordinator for the Community Health and Social Services Network (CHSSN), a well-established non-profit organization in Québec City, you will help English-speaking Quebecers have better access to health and social services. The CHSSN acts as an intermediary organization that implements funding programs to improve access to English-language health and social services across Quebec. As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the implementation, supervision, and evaluation of funding programs for community health projects serving the greater English-speaking community across Quebec province. Your average day would include responsibilities such as: Providing support to third-party recipients Monitoring cashflow of the project Preparing reports for the funder Planning a training session for recipients. Your responsibilities will be such as: Program Oversight (in collaboration with Director of Programming): Develop annual budgets and operating plans to support the program Develop program evaluation framework to assess the strengths and to identify areas for improvement Analyze trends in the program, identifying issues, and developing and recommending solutions Program Implementation: Ensure that the program operates within the approved budget and timelines Ensure all application and monitoring tools are in place and respond to program requirements Support and communicate with program third-party recipients and ensure their compliance with all required reporting and program deliverables Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to the Financial Manager on a regular basis Ensure financial reports and supporting documentation for funders are prepared as outlined in funding agreements Analyze program results and produce progress reports for funders Prepare reports and material for CHSSN board of directors and social media Monitor the program activities on a regular basis and conduct an annual evaluation according to the program evaluation framework Report evaluation findings and recommend changes to enhance the program, as appropriate Planning events and training for recipient In order to be THE Project Coordinator we’re looking for, you’ll need to have in your briefcase: An University degree in a related subject (Business Administration a plus); 3 to 5 years of EXPERIENCE in a related field; Bilingual, i.e ability to write and to communicate IN ENGLISH AND IN FRENCH; Be recognized for these skills and abilities: Knowledge of program management Knowledge of the health and social services sector in Quebec Knowledge of the English-speaking community of Quebec Strong problem solving and group work leadership skills Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective oral and written (bilingual) communication skills Proficiency in the use of computers for: Office 365 Word processing Simple accounting and Spreadsheets Databases E-mail and Internet You could travel on a occasional basis to regions across Quebec. Possible to work from a distance, but preference given to Quebec City residents.
