The Community Health and Social Services Network (CHSSN) is seeking a bilingual leader to serve as Program Manager for Seniors—a pivotal role shaping the design, delivery, and impact of province-wide initiatives that empower communities and strengthen access of seniors to health and social services. About the Role Reporting to the Director of Programs, this position involves overseeing the end-to-end management of CHSSN’s programs for seniors. The role will include strategic planning, program development, implementation, evaluation, and ensuring that programs meet both organizational goals and the needs of the community. A key part of this role is fostering strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and funding bodies while leading and mentoring staff to achieve program success. Key Responsibilities Program planning and development Develop and disseminate knowledge products Goal setting and evaluation of impact Budget development and oversight including fund reporting Financial compliance Relationship building Team leadership and development Capacity Building What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Community Development, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is highly desirable. 3 to 5 years of experience in program management, community development, or a related field. Experience managing programs in the health and social services sector is an asset. Familiarity with the English-speaking senior community in Quebec, and a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities this population faces. Fluency in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Excellent communication and financial oversight skills. Proven ability to lead diverse teams, resolve conflicts, and navigate challenges with creative, data-driven solutions. Proficiency in Office 365 and databases such as Airtable (or similar platforms). Work Environment Location: Quebec City or Montreal office, with regular travel across Quebec. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Full-time, 35 hours per week.
