Overview

In this presentation, we looked at how moving more and eating well can help prevent falls as we age. Simple exercises and healthy food choices can make a big difference for balance, strength, and overall confidence. The goal is to share easy, practical tips that anyone can use at home to stay active, independent, and safe.

Objectives

  • Explain the role of exercise and nutrition in maintaining muscle strength, balance, and overall health for fall prevention in older adults.
  • Identify evidence-based strategies that combine physical activity and dietary approaches to reduce fall risk.
  • Provide practical recommendations that can be applied in daily life or clinical practice to support independence and safety in aging populations.
