The new Patient Navigation Network, based largely on the methods and achievements of the Quebec City service, was introduced, as well as how older adults and caregivers can access this service. Born from parents whose lineage was split equally between French and English-speaking ancestry, Steve and his family arrived in Quebec City in 2014 from Montreal, after his wife was hired for a professorship at Université de Laval. Steve was hired by the CHSSN in 2018 as its first patient navigator for the Quebec City region. Outside of work, he’s a family man first and is both a hockey and cycling nut.
