Objectives Participants identified some common age-related eye conditions and their impacts Participants identified strategies to mitigate the impacts of a loss of vision on their daily lives Recommended Resources Canadian National Institute for the Blind Canadian Council for the Blind Vision Loss Rehab Canada resource directory Presented by: Natalie Osborne, Vision Rehabilitation Therapist, CIUSSS Centre-Ouest A part of Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay since 2004, when it was still known as the Montreal Association for the Blind (MAB), Natalie began as a special educator working with clients of all ages on their home skills. She returned to school to complete a bachelor’s in Human Relations at Concordia, followed by a Vision Rehabilitation Specialist degree at the University of Montreal. She has been coordinating services for visually impaired seniors at the center since 2019.
